Hit-Run Driver At Large After Southern State Parkway Crash Injuring Motorcyclist

New York State Police investigators on Long Island are looking for eyewitnesses as they continue an investigation into a motorcycle crash on the Southern State Parkway last month.

Police said that at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, a motorcyclist was struck by another driver while heading westbound on the parkway near exit 29 in the town of Oyster Bay.

The only descriptive information provided by State Police was that the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run crash is that is was possibly a black Volkswagen or Honda sedan.
